Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was lovely and comfortable, with spacious rooms, though there was a damp smell at times. The service was exceptional, especially thanks to the charming barman Nikolai and the very helpful Dolores. The location was fantastic, offering stunning views of Mellieha church and the bay, though the dining experience was mediocre with limited food variety. Overall, a great spot with some room for improvement.
The hotel provides a mix of positives and negatives. The service is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The location is great, close to restaurants and transportation options, but the dining experience falls short with limited variety and food running out early. The rooms were not up to par initially but were eventually resolved, adding to the overall mixed experience.
The room we got felt quite old when we finally checked in after waiting for an hour past check-in time, not the best start. The staff, from reception to cleaners, tried to pamper us and make us feel welcome during our stay. The location was actually really good, giving us easy access to Mellieha Bay and the attractions of Malta. The dining experience, especially the breakfast with a wide variety of options, was truly incredible. However, the hotel struggled to cope with a cold spell and noise from local events affected our stay negatively.
The hotel is conveniently located in the western part of Malta Island, close to the bus stop and not far from the sandy beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but turning off the air conditioning was necessary. The staff, especially Delores and Jason, were incredibly friendly and helpful. Although the dining room could have been better, the breakfast was reasonably priced. The pool and bar area provide a lovely atmosphere.
The hotel had both positive and negative aspects. The rooms were not as clean as expected, especially after a long wait to get in. The budget room without a window was not recommended. Despite some issues like the air conditioning not working properly, the stay was satisfactory. However, the room was very noisy due to poor window tightness with the ventilation duct, causing disturbances both during the day and at night.
